All year, we collected what we were grateful for. Perhaps the ability to be grateful and the abundance of blessings we experienced speaks for itself. For many reasons, this could be an annus horribilis, with an diagnosis and many hardships. Yet in reality, it was a year of abundant blessings. For every time we came to have to ride the storms, God gave us steadfast shelter and a steady hand on the sails. In the end, storms come and go. But while there is life in us, while the Lord sustains our arms to hold the sheets and hands to grab the rudder, we are masters of every storm.
