Modern government is reverse alchemy. It turns gold into lead.

This is me.

In my day job, I'm a clinical computational epidemiologist working in the public health sector (you can learn more about what clinical computational epidemiologists do here). Part of that is doing some pretty exciting research! Mine mainly concerns the epidemiology of viral haemorrhagic fevers (specifically filoviral VHFs) and geospatial models, and computational methods in machine learning/AI. When not working, I hang out with my awesome wife, explore Hungary, break codes, print three-dimensional objects and - surprisingly - code a lot.
This is my blog where I explore what's on my mind: life, love, faith, family, viruses, work, maths, technology, cooking - you name it. Also: marsupials.
